Libya is at its finest in October and November when the skies are cloudless, the temperatures are pleasant and, depending on the end-of-summer rainfall, the desert may have a greenish tint in places. The next best time to tour Libya is from March through to early May, even though there's a elevated chance of sandstorms in April and, by May, temperatures are actually starting to go up.
